Paraddox Photo

This was my first photoshoot with a baby and it was very different from a shoot with a grown up.

Babies can’t look bad in photos. Really. I think that out of a few hundred photos I had to delete 3 or 4 only because the baby didn’t turn out ok, while with an adult I usually drop 50% of them just because of the faces they make in them.

Last weekend was my first wedding shooting of the year.
I only have time to show off a few images.
I hope you like them.

Last week I was asked to shoot the rehearsal of Romeo and Juliet in the vision of Rahim Burham, a play that is currently playing at Teatrul National Timisoara. The photos were to be used for different promotional purposes.

I had some doubts if I would be able to pull this one off with my current camera gear, because no flash lighting was allowed so this meant I had to shoot at slow shutter speeds and high ISO.

My lens doesn’t have image stabilization and my camera doesn’t do so well with high ISO so I was kind of nervous about it.

I shot for about 2.5 hours. Most of the time I was running around the X shaped stage trying to get close to the next scene.

More than half the images are blurry(lens blur, motion blur, etc.) but there are some that were pretty decent and ended up being used in different printed and digital promotional materials.

I made a small selection of images (from the ones that turned out not to be blurry).

Last week I was in Oslo with my work and it happened to be the Norwegian national day.

We went out to see some parades and the King waving at the crowd and other things like this.

And on this occasion I also took a few photos. Unfortunately I don’t really have much time to spend on photography these days so I’ll post them as soon as I find time to convert them and clean them up.

I don’t know if you noted that on the last image I posted there was a new logo.

I want to thank Adi Junc for designing it for me and for the other things he help me with.
