UPDATE: catelul si-a gasit parinti
.
Conditiile pentru adoptie sunt ca cei care il iau sa aiba grija de el for ever and ever and ever. In rest e pe gratis.
Acestea sunt niste poze in care nu prea stia el inca unde e si ce se intampla. Poze cu el mai vioi o sa punem diseara.

Today was 2 weeks since we got him and he is starting to be a part of our daily routine, although I hope this routine won’t stay as it is now, with us taking him for walks 6-7 times a day so he doesn’t piss all over the apartment.
Guys, if you want a chick magnet, get one of these…girls/women/old ladies are all over this fellow when we take him on walks.
This pictures were taken on Sunday when we went to eat at Iulius Mall. Enjoy.

The next post will finally be with the photos I took while on holiday at Vama Veche, but beware, it’s going to be a verrryyy long post.
Taro

While we were away at Vama Veche we saw a lot of people around there with their dogs and my girlfriend said she would like a dog someday.
I said ok, we’ll see one day if we can take care of dog also, cause we already have two cats and 19 fishes
Yesterday my girlfriend had some spare time at work and started making calls to dog breeders and asking about prices and when would they have puppies available. She sent me a few pictures of dogs she found and said she’d be very grateful
if we could go and check out some of the puppies, for information purposes only.(and I believed her)
She found a Boxer dog breeder about 70km away from Timisoara that had a couple of male puppies available, pure breed with a pedigree if we wanted one, so at about 18:00 we set out to go see them.
When we arrived in Arad she was pretty excited about the puppies so we stopped at an ATM and withdrew the amount of money the guy was asking for the puppy, just in case we like a lot one of the puppies.
As soon as we entered the courtyard where the puppies were, we fell in love with them and so we are now the proud owners of Taro.
Name: Taro – meaning First Born Son (cause both our cats are female :p)
Race: Boxer
Color: coffee with milk ![]()
Age: 2.5months
Weight: 10kg
Attitude: the laziest boxer ever
Not 24 hours later, he already pissed and shat all over the apartment but he is so cute you can’t blame him
Taro’s father is literally a monster, he’s about 60kg of pure muscle but with a gentle nature and the guy we bought Taro from says Taro resembles his father a lot.
This morning I took him for a walk and I let him play with a female Cocker Spaniel and guess what? he tried to hump her
), and he’s only 10weeks old….maybe we should have named him Hugh
Here is a picture of his first moments in our apartment.

Isabella 5 and a some bla bla

Some people asked me why am I writing stuff around here in English instead of Romanian.
Why indeed?
That is because I think English is a language that people from many parts of the world can understand, including the people from Romania, so I think it is the proper way to go. I for one feel frustrated if I go to a website and all the writing there is in Russian for example, because I know 2 words in Russian at max, so I want to avoid other people getting frustrated about my blog.
If I’d want to earn some money blogging maybe I’d be writing things in Romanian so search engines could properly index my website in the .ro sphere and so on, but for me this blog is just a tool for showing my photographs to my friends and other people that enjoy my work.
I still have to go to work for a couple of days and then it’s holiday time.
First I’m going to drop my cats at my mother’s place in Oradea and I’ll stay there until Tuesday evening.
Then I’ll go to the seaside at Vama Veche for about 8 days. I can barely wait to get there because this past year has been full of stress and I’m so tired I can barely focus on anything anymore and I just want to lay back and do nothing except photography.
Last year I didn’t take my camera with me and I regretted it because there are a lot of interesting people to shoot over there. Unfortunately I don’t own a laptop so I’ll only be able to post images when I return to Timisoara and that is around the 21st of August.
And talking about my work here are another couple of shots with the lovely Isa.
Last night I finally finished sorting and processing the photos from the weddings I photographed and I had time to process a couple of my own images.
I hope you like them.

Electromagnetic lens/camera interference
by Soso Pascu on May.29, 2009, under Rants
As I mentioned in a previous post, me and my friend Andi Popescu we went to shoot the opening of new factory here in Timisoara.
The first part of the event took place at the factory itself in a very large hall where a lot of machines were functioning. After a few minutes we realized that our cameras did not focus properly and we had no idea what was happening.
My Canon 70-200F4L lens, which I must say that never missed a shot in the 2 years I owned it, started focusing totally weird.
I was about 5 meter away from my subject and when I looked through the viewfinder the subject looked focused and all seemed OK, but as soon as I took the shot I saw on the camera LCD that the subject was blurred and the wall behind him was in focus.
At first I thought it was because I made a mistake so I went near the entry the hall and took a few test shots of a fixed subject(a garbage can) and everything looked fine. Thinking it was just human error(my error) I went back to shooting the event inside the hall just to see the camera behaving weird again.
I cursed for a while and started shooting each subject 3 times to make sure I get at least one good shot.
At one point I figured a way around the problem: the subject had to be closer than 4 meters or it wouldn’t focus properly, and you can image what kind of shots you can get from 4 meters away with a 70mm lens on a crop camera, especially when you want to get 4-5 people into the shot.
A couple of hours of this weirdness went by and by then I thought my lens was broken and I was thinking of sending it to be repaired.
The next event in the day was a conference where the lighting conditions were worse that those at the factory but surprisingly the camera/lens behaved flawlessly.
In the evening when I downloaded the images on my computer I noticed that all my wrongly focused images were taken near a big machine in the factory.
From what I know that machine had some kind of large electromagnet in it and it seems that every time I went near the machine the focus mechanism in the camera/lens started to go nuts. The worst part is that the machine was placed in the middle of the hall so I was around it most of the time while shooting there.
This is an example of what could go wrong at such an event, and is something that not in a million years would have I anticipated. I think that the EM field affected the camera sensor also because even the focused images are not as sharp as the ones the lens usually delivers. The same happened to Andi with his 400D and Tamron 17-50m f/2.8.
All in all I’m happy that my lens isn’t broken but I’m pissed that 60-70% of my shots are worthless. I’m not shooting anymore factories from now on.
And to change the subject, if you are into car performance tuning and you are located in or near Timisoara go check these guys out eobdtune, they have some nice info in there.
Andi Popescu has a great new post so go check it out.
I’ll also have some new images in the next days so come take a look or to make it simpler subscribe to the RSS feed
Have a great weekend people
