Nadia and Andy

Unfortunately I didn’t get to go on a shoot alone with just the two them, so we had to make do with half an hour here and there to shoot a few images.

And my friend the sun had to go all crazy on me and go hiding under clouds at the exact moment I pulled out my silver reflector. But we caught a few lucky breaks now and then.

This is what we got out if it.

I just love this kind of portraits with children clinging on to their parents.

Yeah….I’m a softie :) :P

Wedding – Nadia and Andy

by on Jul.27, 2009, under Nunta, Sidebar Photoblog

This past weekend I was a wedding photographer again and it was a lot of fun even if at the end of the day I was so tired that I fell asleep before I actually hit the bed. :)

As usual things never turn out the way I hope but it’s a good way to improve my skills by creating different solutions for the problems that appear.

The thing that has been killing me at both these past weddings was the extreme sun and heat. On one side I was sweating so much that if you poured a bucket of water on me you couldn’t have seen any difference :) , and on the other hand it was so bright outside that my 430Ex flash couldn’t output enough light to fill correctly outdoor photos(unless I was 2 meters away from the subject).

Another trick is how to bounce the flash off a ceiling that isn’t there…. well…you don’t. :)

The groom at this weeding is not from Romania so they decided to organize a wedding that would be as traditional as possible to introduce him to our customs and traditions. You’ll see what I mean as I post more of the images.

Even if the wedding was a traditional one I’m trying not to fall into creating traditional photos because there are 10000000 other photographers that can make those kind of images.

You tell me if I succeeded. :)

The beautiful couple
The princess of the event

Now I can marry you.

This is the end of part one. More to come.

As soon as I have more images ready I’ll post them, so check in once in a while or subscribe to the RSS feed
